how much power should a ls vtec have.????? jdm 16 sir and b18a bottom?? pretty much stock everything...

 

pretty lame question.. every motor is different. put it on a dyno if u want the real answer.. but if u say just a complete stock block on a complete stock head, id say maybe anywhere from 120-150 whp

 

thanksss i just want to know whats the power range of it... ill probably get the cams and camgears next.. but if im geting the stage 2 i need to change the valve spring and retainners right?! i jsut want to hit around 180 to 200 whp....

 

no.. invest in some high compression pistons first. an LS VTEC NEEDS pistons to be successful. look into some ITR or b16 pistons.. a stock block LS has low compression and with big cams, ur still probably slow. my friend made almost 200 whp with b16 pistons in his LSVTEC with skunk stage2 cams. and yes upgraded valvetrain is required. hope this helps.
