LS map on B20?
Hey all. A few questions here.
I have a chipped ob1 p75 ecu.
I had it chipped and had an LSV map put on for my lsv set up.
After i swapped a b18 and had a Stock ls map put on.
Now i have a b20 and it seems to be running fine.
Do i need a different map put on? Or is the LS map fine for the b20?
I dont want to ruin the motor over time by having the wrong map.
Thanks.

When I finished my B20 swap I was running on an OEM P75 to pass BAR and it ran the B20 fine in closed loop (warmed up) but it was really lean in open loop (cold starts). I would suggest getting a B20 map on it as soon as possible.
Thanks for the reply Rolliniyda.
Yea runs great on closed loop. I hadn't noticed if it was lean in open loop but I'll get a b20 map on it as soon as I can. Thanks!
You're in Nor Cal and you were able to bar you car in California with the b20?

it will be lean on cold starts and at full throttle, especially around 4500-5500 rpm. when people do this swap with a stock ls ecu they usually get a fuel pressure regulator and bump the pressure. you have a tuneable ecu so id keep the ls map and add fuel to the spots where its lean. i would also take out 2-3 degrees of timing below around 3000-3500 rpm. basically you just need a quick street tune, whether you borrow a wideband for an hour and do it yourself of have a tuner take a look at it.
do you have a b20b or b20z?

You wouldn't really notice it's lean without a wideband because its not like it dies or falls on it's face, it's just not running an optimal AFR due to the fuel shortage. The LS ECU will run the engine but I wouldn't call it a good long term option.
Yes I BAR'd a B20B in my 97 civic hatch. You just have to use every Integra component for the engine. Intake manifold, exhaust manifold, cat, ECU, evap system, and so on. They actually passed me with the civic charcoal canister because they're functionally the same. I thought maybe they wouldn't notice the canister but he did, he just didn't have a problem with it.

Thanks blackeg. I will be getting a FPR and just have the shop where i was going to get the map put on tune the car.
I have a b20b all atock with exception of an injen CAI.
Thanks rollininmyda. I have not really driven the car since the swap and ecu, maybe some 550 miles. I dont think thats enought to do any damage but i will be getting it tuned.
And good to know you got it BAR'd. Im going to try and BAR mine too now.
Its a 95 ls integra, so i have everything for the car on the b20 engine.
