Looking at Buying an Integra, need some advice
Looking at buying a 91 Integra RS from a friend, wanted to know if H-T knew of any persistent problems these cars have. The motor has 143k miles, seems to run strong, interior and exterior in good shape except for a few broken pieces, which the seller will be fixing.
Looking at using this car as a daily driver for now (gotta keep the turbo Civic off the road and low on mileage), but later swapping the engine and suspension, and using as a mild track car.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Re: Looking at Buying an Integra, need some advice (Turbo D17)
hmm, cam seal leaks are common, leaky and rattling hatch, anything else associated with a high-mileage car.
go to g2ic.com, its a great resource for G2 tegs

Re: Looking at Buying an Integra, need some advice (UCBGSR)
I usually suggest this to everyone getting used cars.
DO A COMPRESSION TEST in front of the person. It takes about 15 minutes and is really simple. If he is unwilling for some strange reason, dont buy the car. That would probobly mean he is not confident about it. Anyone who wants to sell their car will have 15 more minutes of their time.
I should have done this when I bought my car....
