Knock Sensor Help!

Default Knock Sensor Help!

i accidentally broke my knock sensor and i replaced it. but for some reason im still gettin a code 23. i checked if it was tight... i also disconnected the batt... i also tried to use a p28 wit obd2 to obd1 jumper and im still gettin code 23. dont know wat to do and i wanna go to the track on wed.

Check the resistance of the wire from sensor to ECU. This wire is shielded too so any interferance or wire breakge will probably pop a code. Also can back probe the knock sensor signal with a ocilloscope and make sure it's a periodic wave form.

Check the pin inside the connector. I've switched to an obd1 p28 and it's fine w/o a knock sensor.
