Default Kinda clueless, exhaust junkies needed

I want to replace my muffler and possibley cat since iv been running code 67 since i can remember. I have no idea what kind of muffler to purchase. The ones ive heard of are apex n1, rs-r exmag, twin loop, dynomax and magnaflow. I want something loud enough to hear the car. oem exhaust is defiantly too quiet and straight pipe(disconnected my stock exhaust right after the cat)was to loud, but loved it. I have 4-2-1 headers, intake currently is just the top of the airbox removed so ya. I want a deep, kinda smooth tone. I did some searching but didnt really come up with anything great.

you want a deep tone - go check out a T1R or do custom 2.5" piping to ES Oval exhaust

es oval and any twin loop design will give you a deeper sound probly anything else on the market. but a 2.5 piping to a ITR muffler will sound mean!

I wouldnt go ebay, its like everything else you get what you pay for, whcih in that case is isht. I recently bought a T1R 2.5" axleback that was on a 01 ITR, the sound of this exhaust is amazing, just do a lil research and get something good and deep sounding so you are happy!! People on this board will only support a few kinds, but listen to them, actually if you search there was recently a thread on this, lemme try to find it!!

well then you'll need to have it custom made, make the the diameter of your collector on your header, any other size is pretty much pointless. then just get a cheap muffler, that won't matter
