Default resinator

I have a 96 GSR and I am getting 2.5 inch piping and a hi-flow cat put on it this weekend. Should I leave the resinator or take it off? Thanks.

The only thing the resonator is there for is to quiet down your exhaust. If you live in a place like Cali where they are strict as hell on mods, then I would advise to leave it. Personally, I didn't have one installed when I had my custom exhaust made and I don't regret it at all. I don't really think that by not having it, it makes your exhaust THAT much louder, but it definitely is louder than one with it. Another thing some people don't like is that they say it makes your exhaust more buzzy, which is true to an extent, but nothing to complain about.
