hi all i have a problem with my electric windows, they are very slow and my drivers side squeaks and jumps alot when its comeing down and up, i have tryed to spray with grease etc on the rubbers. Is it worth taking the door card off and see if the glass is sitting on the runners right is it easy to put the glass back on the runners etc?

And is it worth getting a new battery if the windows are slow?

I sprayed grease on mine cause they were doing the same thing. I've tried a few kinds of grease and each time the friction just causes the grease to harden and it's a mess. Now my windows are horrible. I'm going to remove my windows, clean the glass of all the grease/gunk and put new rubber strips in. I think it's worth it but I've been dealing with this for a while and I'm sick of it haha.
