Default Input Needed!!

I just took off my turbo manifold on my integra and noticed i had oil in the exhaust port...its the same cylinder my previous block cracked a sleeve on... I swapped a new block and ran it for about 30mins and just took off the manifold to swap in topmount. Ive also had the machine shop put in new valve seals... Cracked head? Bad Valve seals? Any test I can perform to narrow it down? Thanks!!!

If the valve seals were replaced then I doubt that's it, and if it's a stock bottom end you swapped in then maybe rings? I would lean towards a cracked head though...

Damn this is bullshit! LOL...How can I confirm its my oil control rings? I believe i would get the head pressure tested for cracks?? What would a leakdown test tell me? Thanks

To check if it's the oil rings do a leak down test and listen in your dipstick tube or oilpan for noise. I'm not sure how they can pressure test for cracks. Machinists are crafty so I'm sure they have some way of doing it.

Leakdown test will only tell if you have any of these problems:

A. Bad valve seats/ leaky valve
B. Bad head gasket
C. Bad piston rings.
D. Bad spark plug threads.

Leakdown test would tell you if your rings were bad. Did the motor smoke at all when you had it running?

Seems unlikely that an under mounted turbo could spit oil up into an exhaust port.

If it was the turbo it would be in the downpipe not the manifold. And it would be smoking.

Lol he may have just read it wrong thinking the oil was in your exhaust or something...
But yea I would have to say that the oil is from your wet compression test. Let us know what happens after you start it back up.
