my gsr is idling from about 1- 2k. i changed the fitv which i was told needed to be replaced but it still idles very rough when its around 1k and it jumps around? is this distributor or throttle cable or iacv problem? i dont wanna buy stuff if they arent broken and the iacv cost like 200 bucks. could anyone give some more input into this? thanks
could be 1 of several things.
try checking for a vacuum leak, iacv, possible bad map.,or ect
just read that u wanted to be sure about what was wrong, the only was to be sure is to hook a scan tool up to the car

Try your TPS SENSOR, or see if you have a leak around your throttle body or intake manifold, i had the same problem with the idle and finally figured out it was the a leak from the throttle body
