Default D15B7 IDLE ISSUE

Kindly Read

Ok so i decided to clean my throttle body and bought a bottle of throttle body and intake cleaner.. When i took it off i spray'd like most the bottle on the throttle body (Maybe too much? ) and also used degreaser. Then i also clean the FITV. Once i was done i put everything back together and put the throttle body on the intake manifold with a new gasket. then pluged everything back. When i started the car it started to idle to 900-1600 rpm which nvr did before reset'd the ecu and still.. drove it around and still with the same problem. Replace the iacv sensor and still with the problem. Im thinking the tps sensor or map got messed up from the inside? And i have no check engine light. So idk what the heck i did..

Anyone could help id appreciate it and Thank you

Default Re: D15B7 IDLE ISSUE

PROBLEM FIXED!

Autozone gave me the wrong throttle body gasket (96-00 civic ) like always >> idiots... which had a air leak which made it idle crazy... good thing at 2 in the morning my friend from down the street saw me struggling and had a new honda genuine throttle body gasket for my d15b7

Put the oem honda and resolved the problem!
