I need your opinion on what clutch/flywheel/pressure plate to buy.
Greetings everyone.
My setup right now is LS/VTEC. In the near future, I will be boosting with a T3/T4 along with the LS/V. I planned all along to get an ACT 6 puck with an Heavy Duty pressure plate and maybe run a 10 pound flywheel. I did some research, but nothing really helped me in my decision on what to get. My friend told me that the ACT would wear down the tranny faster. He also recommended me in getting a 7.5 pound flywheel. Is there anyone that owns a Clutchnet? I think that's the name. All these names have been thrown at me; Clutchmasters, Exedy, Fidanza. I really don't know what to get anymore. I still like the idea of a 6 puck. Any feedback you guys give would be great. Thanks!

^ That is very true. To tell you the truth money is NOT an issue. For my car to run smoothly, I'll put down any amount of money. The thing now is to decide on what kind of setup I want for my clutch. What clutch you got Rpizzle?

I've got a stage 1. Its not jerky like a stage 2 or higher. Not only that but it won't wear out as quick. I just had my stock flywheel resurfaced and threw it back in. I couldn't see spending a few hundred on something else.

i run a stage 2 competition clutch (used by inline pro) with there 8.8 pound flywheel. my buddy's puttin down 315 on his boosted gsr and he runs the stage 4 but its really aggressive. the unsprung 6 puck's by ACT mess your trans up really bad... and be prepared to replace them axles i dont recomend it as a daily driver.

any non-organic clutch or unsprung clutch is not going to run smooth
*i heard RUMORS of using really agressive clutch's with stock pressure plates and they release like stock

I recently talked to another friend of mines running the same setup as me. He told me that I didn't need the lighter flywheels. What he has is an OEM 12 pound flywheel. He told me to use his, but I'll have to resurface it. I forgot what company he's using, but he's running a 4 puck with an Heavy Duty pressure plate. Thanks for all the input so far you guys.
