Default i need help. head problem!!!

so here it is. my all stock auto 99 gs was running bad and sputtering and and a bunch of junk. so i thought it was spark plugs. i changed that. made no difference. so i did a compression test and got some bad results. from left to right i got: 195, 30, 195, 165. it wasnt a blown head gasket im sure. no smoke. no oil in coolant. so i pulled my head and my valve was done! idk how this could have happend. all i know is i need a new head or valve. if anyone in northern california area has one they dont need, and can sell for cheap, i could use one really bad.

my friend had the same problem. All i did was spend 20 bucks for one valve from acura, and the car runs fine.

best thing to do? buy my ls/vtec swap. lol

Ok, You can buy a single valve, they are not too much per each valve.

Take the head to a machine shop. I prefer my local Napa Machine shop.

They guy knows what he is doing and it doesnt cost much.

When I blew a headgasket, I had this stuff done to the head.

Cleaned/hot tanked.
milled 0.0010 teh thousands of an inch
Pressure checked
UV checked
Warpage checked

And it cost me like $81.xx

It shouldnt be much for him to install a valve.

Might as well have them install some valve seals depending on the mileage.

Just stick a new valve in there and call it a day. Get the Valve seat and Valve grinded so they mate. Don't want to be having a air leak from one of your valves. Put some forged internals while it's apart haha
