the car is sending 6V to the headlight socket when i flip my high beams, i probably just need some kind of resistor put in line because the ballast box is probably sending back a signal that it doesnt need 12V

I'd just get the high/low beams. Bi-Xenon doesn't mean ****. Xenon is a brand and bi means 2, so yeah. He's a hater who creates terminology off of what he sees on ebay.
What you need is and BRAND of HID that has hi/low beam. If that's not working for you, there's faulty wiring somewhere.

HIDs are simple. Read up on it a little, install a kit, and you'll know how to install them indefinitely.

I work at a dealership and get HIDs in the shop often both factory and aftermarket (aftermarket mostly from trade-ins), so I can find my way around. Research, retrofit if necessary and you should be good.

yea, im guessing there might be something wrong with the cars wiring, but it hurts my head because the highs and lows both worked rite before i installed the kit with 12v to each, put in the hids its a dual beam hit. that uses an HID for low beam and halogen for high beam, but im guessing since its still ran threw the ballast box its telling the car it only needs 6V like the HID bulb and its not letting my high beams work, this is how my kit looks pretty much

from reading this last post and with that picture..... it looks like your trying to run both your high beams and low beams through one light. Pretty much getting away with the high beams at the factory location (two inner lights on usdm front)?.....

well i dont think that kit would work for our cars and i think you explained it pretty well for yourself:

A bit confused here. So when you turn on your high beams, your low beam (HID) shuts off and only activates the high beam (halogen) at a 6v voltage?

This is a DA teg not a DC teg.

and for you mr. smart *** the xenon is the gas in the bulb not the brand. Glad you don't work at a dealership near me working on my cars.

Maybe so. Xenon is a brand. I could stand corrected. Yet I've had %0 problems installing HIDs on a hundred different vehicles.

So yeah. I guess I'm a smartass n00b. So... stfu and invert the color on your integra pic so we all can't REALLY see how **** your car is. <3

Dude is an idiot, I'm guessing he thinks you put a resistor in and that that is what is cause the low voltage. Take it back to that shop and make them fix it.

No you do stand corrected. I'm glad someone like you is working on other peoples cars but has no idea what parts they are truely putting on.

If you wanna see a picture of any of my cars go look in post that I have made in the years past.

To the OP, go back to the shop and have them fix it or if you bought the kit offline send it back cause its messed up.

I've notice that as well, constantly bringing up his service. I don't have a problem with the dude, but I can't stand reading his replies to grumblebarc or whatever it is.

X2

On the technical side it defs sounds like they didn't install it right. If you had them install soley for the purpose of the lifetime warranty then you should defs take it back to them to have them honor it. And continue to do so with whatever problems arrive in its Lifetime.

I think that's all I ever said. You purchase a lifetime warranty and get something installed that isn't working correctly (as you say) then you have the company honor the warranty. You don't come on a forum and ask about some yet-to-be-named kit that isn't standard equipment on any car in the first place because the knucklehead you spoke to over the phone (why you didn't physically take it back to the shop makes no sense to me) was a putz.
