Hesitating problem??????
Ok first off I have an 2001 Integra GSR(120K).... For the past 2 weeks now the car has been BOGing down when driving down the road at just random times. Now it doesn't do it with 0% throttle(idle) or at 100% throttle. Its only doing this with about 25-65% throttle only... I will be just driving and it will hesitate or bog for a second and then go again(Sometimes it does it a couple of times in a row), most of the time very faintly but annoying and this morning it was doing it very badly. Now I just replace the WHOLE ignition system(Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor, & internal Coil)... The only thing I can think of is maybe the TPS sensor because every now and then it will idle at 1K rpms for some reason, but I've never seen one be affected by driving I thought they just idle up and down when bad... The other thing is maybe the fuel pump is going out but I don't understand why it wouldn't do anything under FULL Throttle??? If anyone has any idea's please let me know I'm stumped...
Yea I already did a fuel cleaner and a fuel filter change... Is there another way to actually take the injectors out and clean them???? I didn't even think of a relay, but I thought that they just go out all of a sudden not slowly?
Main Relays usually just dies out. Could be a bad wire somewhere on your main harness. Had a defect on mine and it threw a TDC CEL. After trying everything i decided to mess with the harness and that apparently was the problem. You might also want to check for corrosion on your plugs as well.

No my car is not throwing any cels I really wish that it would... Its getting worse too it used to be just faint and annoying and now its pretty bad... I have no idea what it could be other then some sort of bad plug somewere, I just wish it would throw a cel to help me out some...
Has anyone ever had any problem like this with a TPS or something... The car just feels like its lagging some, but if I floor it, its fine runs good and is quick. It doesn't feel right when driving a lot of the times and like i said before it idles sometimes at like 1,000-1,200 rpms, sometimes it stays there and then sometimes it will drop to normal after a while??? I'm stumped, I've had 15 honda's and have owned around 20 cars, and usually something like this is ignition problems, like a wire that jumping spark to metal, but thats all brand new and it didn't change anything...
I'm running into the same issue.. However I was getting a knock sensor code... I eventually disabled knock which took care of the code for good... the problem went away for a while..then came back. I was also thinking tps myself. You would need a scan tool or a meter w/ at least 3 channels. Then you would have to hook up to +,- and sig to check the circuit to the ECU pins for the TPS sensor.
anyone else on the board experience this problem before?

^Yea I have a scaner and a volt meter if thats what you talking about... I've even the scaned the computer the other day just to see if there were any stored codes, and of course nothing... So did the disabling the knock help you?? Or did it just for a little while???
same thing in my dc w/ lsvtec i have hondatas300 can i data log and post it somehow so someone can figure out this problem for us it isnt getting worse but it is so random and like he said idles wierd. especially at cold temps only at like 1/4 throttle i have had it happen very strange all i new also exept plugs

I think I have the same issue as the OP. It usually happens after the car has completely cooled down or when I start it up in the morning. If I don't feed the car any gas while she's warming up, I'll cover about 300 feet before the throttle goes out (not at my control) and then recovers about 2-3 seconds later. It's such a pain because I have to clutch in and wait for my own car to rev itself back up. I'm hoping for someone to chime in with a resolution because I've already upgraded my fuel pump with a walbro255 thinking it would fix the solution but it didn't.

The funny thing is mine started doing that this week too, If I try to take off out of work in the evenings my car will just dye, and I have to push the clutch in and rev it up and then I can go again... This is getting annoying... Someone HELP!!!
