HELP!!! What is this??
Like I said before.. I took apart my head and I'm putting everything back together and my engine wont start
, I took my led light and poked around a bit and found an open hole that looks like something goes in it but I looked around some more and cant figure out what! Your standing in front of your car and its to your right and behind. Like to the right of the fuel injectors and to the left of the cam belt... its right below the valve cover nut farthest to the right and back. It goes into the head like a hose was there before but it screws in... I tried to describe it the best I could.. PLEASE HELP! Thanks!

I believe that is just an open threaded hole. I think some people thread a bolt in there to attach a hoist chain when removing the engine from the car.
Give us better description of how it won't start. Does it turn over? Does it want to try to start, or no. Fuel? Spark? Did you adjust your valves? Lots of things from simple to tough...
I made the valves PERFECT when I adjusted them this time... I took a sparkplug out and cranked it over a few times and it sparked (cyl. 1 and 2 I tried...) It smells like the plugs have gas on them, but also, when I turn it over a few times I smell gas in the bay. It sounds like it would when you normally would start it. Its confusing the living **** out of me!

I let it sit overnight... Besides... How would too much get in there? Wouldn't it start right away?
