What leads you to believe that your timing is off? Are you using a timing gun? Are your timing marks off? Need more info.

B17 is different than a B18c1 Im pretty sure it has the same deck height as a b16... And a b18a1 has a 19t water pump and vtec has more 21 maybe so no the belts are not the same.

make sure all your parts are matched up for your car...dont be interchanging parts from different vehicles with different parts...formula for disaster...

when i put on my timming belt its off like 3/4 of a teeth. when all the marks r set the timming belt will sit on the cam gears teeth. also the timming gun shows that im off about a tooth but its not a tooth. just 3/4 of a tooth. when i drive my car, around 35-5 thousand rpm the car lack of power. feels like the cam are not meeting each other at the same time at top disc center.

are you just setting it at the cams or are you lining everything up, like the crank and the cam gears? And are you using anything to keep the cams from moving?
