I gotta 00 gsr with 80K on the motor, latley my cars been running like ****, i have I/H/E/IM and it ran fine till about 2 days ago, once vtec engages it doesnt pull like it did, i also think my cars running rich because my spark plugs were black on the tip of them and they were put in not ever 2 weeks ago, somsone told me i should go for a valve adjustment also... cars got a check engine light on for (P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold) does anyone know what is wrong with my car... Brother gave me the car, hes in the military and i cant get a hold of him, to see if he knows why...Someone Help

 

Well the cheapest thing to try now is some Seafoam. If that doesnt solve ur problem (which it probably wont, but its worth a try) is to IM "Jim Blake" if you can get a hold of him. Last year when i was having problems, he pretty much had the solution every time.

Jim Blake=Honda God.

 

Probably the primary O2 sensor.
