Help diagnose starting problem
I swapped a jdm b18c into my '95 ls last year. It was also converted from auto to manual. Recently, after I've been driving for a while then park, the car has some trouble restarting. It has always started, but it is pretty weak. The starter doesn't sound like it cranks alot. Sometimes it takes two tries.
After it is running, it runs strong. No problems.
At first I thought it might be the clutch switch I wired to a relay:

But I checked the circuit with a voltmeter. When I step on the clutch and turn the key, the relay clicks and power goes through the blk/wht wire to the blk/red wire.
One thing I did notice, there is ~0.23 volts on the blk/red wire which connects the starter even when the ignition is turned off. Is that normal?

Update:
I have tried another starter with the same result.
Also If I disconnect the under hood fuse for the the fuel pump (15A) and crank the engine (like when u do a compression test), it does crank.
I've also put in a new battery. Weak start happened once, but seemed strong afterward.
Lastly, I noticed the blk/white wire that connects to the starter was a little loose. I crushed the female fitting w/ some pliers to tighten it. I'll have to test it again tomorrow to see if that was the problem.
