Default header quality question

ok here's the deal, i've always run ebay headers, never had a problem. but with this type r, and my friends LS, our ebay headers' flanges aren't straight enough to bolt up correctly to the head. i actually stripped out a couple of the lower bolt holes trying to pull the header flange flush with the head (stupid i know)

so now i'm looking into a DC sport header, but i want to ask for experience from you all. has anyone had any problems with fitment with these headers? they seem to be higher quality with at least SOME R&D put into their product.

also how do the megan racing knockoff headers fit? they say they test fit everything but i dont believe them. i absolutely can't afford to dump any more money into this thing as i've spent thousands in the last week... counting body and paint and a carbon hood, intake, exhaust, exhaust labor work, wheels, tires, type R interior and exterior pieces, and more...

i won't make the mistake of trusting cheap ebay parts anymore, but megan is kinda on the borderline at 200 bucks.. DC sports quality? megan quality? thanks in advance

yea mine was a tri-y too. ebay. i just managed to make it seal for now...

found some ford exhaust studs and used them on the bottom bolt holes, used bigger nuts to fill the space and act as shims, and used nuts to pull the manifold down (with the top header bolts not screwed on at all. worked them down a little at a time to avoid stressing one hole too much, and used an aftermarket compressible gasket in conjunction with a stock metal gasket. sealing up great and even looks kinda neat with the studs and stainless nuts on the bottom.

still, next time im not putting a header on AT ALL until i can afford a toda racing piece. (always wanted one, and it will be worth it as my next ride will surely be a real type r car)

would still like to know the answer to my question though for future/other peoples' reference.
