Default Header

I'm looking to swap out my ebay header this spring or when i get the money. What would you recommend for a 92 integra gs. I want more power out of it and my ebay header seems to look good but i think its leaking. Its still got the stock b18a1 just with cold air intake and header back exhaust thanks ahead to time = ]

Go with a name brand header to begin with. Whatever power gains you think you'll get you will never feel.

Just get new gaskets for the leak, and call it a day.

If it's coming from the middle section, clean the area, and use high temp HondaBond.

or put the stock header back on.... why would you even think about fixing a junk header thats worse than stock? cast iron ftw, that isnt going to crack on you. Then when you get some money buy a tri-y design header, dont fall for the dc garbage look for a nice quality one.

I think his header is just leaking from the cheapo gaskets, not cracked.

I got a Megan Racing header and it leaked out from everywhere.

A header on your stock car is going to net you 2-3whp which to me isn't worth the money and effort. I would fix what you have or put the stock manifold back on. This is the reason i saved my money. Rather than squandering it on NA parts with little gain, i bought a turbo setup and doubled the stock power output...on the stock block

My brother's del Sol had a huge crack in the stock D16Z6 manifold when he bought it. He bought another used one, and it was cracked as well, in nearly the exact same place.

So yes, cast iron manifold can and do crack some times.

I believe StokelesS_g2 is correct.. I think replacing those gaskets will fix the problem but where would I find new better gaskets? could I pick them up at like nappa? and what a good tri y header? I want to build and turbo my motor but i've got my mind set on getting another car before I do and then lookin into bulding and repairing my teg.. so a turbo build is in the future like after this summer sadly and I wanted to pick up a b16 tranny before hand also
