Default Flaring fuel feed line

I just finished replacing my rotted out fuel feed Hardline. I double flared the end and put it into the fuel filter, re using the original flare nut. Went to pressurize the lines and it starts to leak. So I tighten down the flare nut as much as it'll go and that slows down the leak a lot but it's still not completely sealed. Just wondering if anyone's has any advice on it. My flare looked perfect. I'm actually using the Eastwood hydraulic flare kit so it's not just a cheap flare bar.
