Engine wants to die.....Help!
Hey everyone.
I've got a problem that's been happening for a while and i can't seem to figure it out. Every so often when i BEGIN to drive the car, i'll feel the engine want to die on me....I'll have to push the clutch in an give it gas.....Now the car never actually dies.....but it seems like it is almost going to...there's no power and i can hear it starting to shut down...But after about 5 minutes of driving it never happens again....A very weird problem...anybody experience this before? Where should I start? I've just replaced the airfilter with a aem cold air intake and the problem still persists.....Thanks in advance everybody.

Re: Engine wants to die.....Help! (wardstar)
if you installed the AEM CAI you're gonna have to reset the ECU and tune it from there, but if it's bogging, i've seen this problem come up a few times and it's always been hydrolocking from something leaking into the cylinders from the coolant cycle. If it's not bogging you might just have a low idle problem, easily fixed

Did this guy just say that?
:scratches head:
Do a tune up, cap/rotor/plugs and that should prob fix it.
