Default engine problems?

hellooo everyone. i read a few articles that was posted regarding engines not starting. i wanted to explain my problem here and see what you all thought what could be going on with my 94 integra ls.

the other day i was driving around, and at a stop light i ended up stalling out. when i tried to restart it turned and turned and turned but never caught. after about a minute of pumping the gas, and trying to start it, it finally caught and i was on my way. the other day when it wouldnt start, i had only had the car on for a few minutes, ran into the store came out and it gave me the same problem.. today, i went to leave and once again, turn turn turn, and after about a minute of trying it finally caught. today it was very hot out. so i dont know if that has anything to do with it, especially since i dont believe it was very hot the other 2 times it decided to give me problems. (starts up fine right now)

if anyone can give me some ideas of what could be wrong, id greatly appreciate it. thanks for all responses ahead of time.

my teg did this a little while ago too, it stopped, but what i concluded from it was either a faulty fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter.. someone correct me if i'm wrong

check your main relay...I had the same probs with my 91 civic hb....the relay needs to be re-soderd/ or replaced...its a pretty common problem.

If it starts alright when the car is cold, but struggles when its warm it would most likely be the main relay for the fuel pump, in which case you need to get the contacts resoldiered.

Check for spark or fuel if that happens again. Maybe pump problem or coil problem. Could also be vapor lock which does happen.

could also very well be the gas that you put in your car.

I don't know about LA but the rest of the nation citgo is about the worst gas you can use. The dirtiest crap I have ever laid my eyes on(test it sometime). I stick to chevron. Shell is also very good gas.

aftergamex, have you figured out your problem yet? I am having a very similar problem...I was driving my 94 integra and all of a sudden the accelerator stops responding...power windows die, signal lights dont work..seems like the only thing that worked was the hazards and brakes...so I pull over and try to restart and it fails for awhile..but then I get it to startup...I brought my car into a shop and they said a transmission fluid flush could do the trick while my friend who is a mechanic thinks its either the distributor or the fuel pump...I'm still not sure what to do to fix the problem...
