98 gsr with 116k.. my engine light is on and today when was at 6000rpm.. my car boggle pretty hardd.. it was very hot today in socal so im not sure if that has any effect. what do you guys think is wrong

 

Pull the CEL code and the computer will tell you what was wrong. There is an instruction link in the FAQ thread.

ok so its throwing code 22 and 45 which is -VTEC pressure valve- and -fuel system too rich or lean- is any of these problems something i can fix myself?

 

I would start off by checking to oil level. If the pressure dropped and the car fell out of VTEC operation, the mixture could have been rich.

what the hell are you talking about. You can do anything yourself, all you gotta do is research and see how other people have fixed it. the internet is a big place.
