Electrical help
Ok so I have an 01 integra with a b18b1 I am currently cleaning up the wiring and rerunning it so it's hidden and cleaner looking in the engine bay. I removed the part of the harness that goes under the intake by splicing the wires together and rerunning them out of the way. Now my check engine light is on and car won't start. It has fuel to the injectors and the power is good for the injectors when key is on and the grounds are good. Injectors are also good. All my splices are good I checked them all. What can it be? How can I check what the light means without a scanner?
If it worked before you messed with it then you obviously screwed something up in the harness.
Did you "check" everything visually or did you actually check each wire with a multimeter for continuity from the main engine harness plug to where it plugs into a sensor/injector/etc? Do it this way and I'm 99% sure you'll find the problem. Also how did you do the splices?
Also, buy a Bluetooth OBD2 dongle, they're like $10 on Amazon and an invaluable tool for troubleshooting.

I second that, if the car ran before than you'll need to double check your custom wiring. There are grounds that do ACTUALLY need to be grounded. So thats a start. Have you even looked up the CEL? How did you check the injector wiring to confirm it was good? How did you confirm if the injectors were firing? Why haven't you looked into why your ignition isn't firing like it should?
I visually checked everything and all the wires i connected were good connections then i started with my injectors. the yellow wire with a black stripe that goes to each injector has power when key is on as it says it should. I checked the ground to the injectors with a test light and when cranking they seem to all light appropriately. I pulled the cap off and had someone crank the motor and the distributor does spin in an effort to spark off the pieces on the cap. how should i check everything with a multi meter?
I went through the plug one by one cutting one circuit out at a time and sottered and used heat shrink on every connection i made.

No I do not have a scanner yet. Also does anyone have an Integra relative to a 2001 here? If so can you send me pictures of the plugs in the engine bay. With this I can see if my splices are correct and match everything up. That would be amazing if so!!!
