or go to autozone and have them read the code then clear it.

you dont need to have thme check the cel , you can d it by check engine flashes. its simple.
thnwe fix the problem and reset the code.

well i change my cat and i forgot to plug 1 of the sensors in and i fired it up to check for leaks and i saw the light go on so i pluged the sensor back in and the light is still there. so im pretty shore all the sensors are alright, i was just wandering if i can only get rid of the light with a scanner.

disconnect the positive terminal of the battery for a few minutes. turn the lights on during this to make sure all current is drained from any capacitors in the system. then turn the ignition to the on position. if no check light then if you still have a cel then short the diagnostics plug and get the codes cuz you still got a problem. hth

make sure all the wires are fully plugged into the harness. mine were loose from taking off my header, and the code came on. I pushed them in and it was fine.

just reset the ECU or disconnect the negative battery cable .. make sure you have your radio code.. it should reset.. and if the code comes back on again you know something is wrong...
