you can go to autozone or kragen n get the ignition coil tested n the control module tested. You can take out the spark plug wire from the engine n put a spark plug in it and have a friend crank the engine while you check for spark. Are getting fuel? Another cause could be a bad main relay.

i filled up the car couple days ago, plus, i smell gasoline after i crank it couple times. if i want to test the spark, do i have to place the spark plug somewhere to have it spark?? connect ground wire or something??

I just left it near a valve cover bolt and had my friend crank the car while I check out side for spark.

My experience with main relays is that usually the check engine light wont come on when you first start up and then go off. I think that you don't get fuel pressure either though.

The main relay controls most of the car. If it is bad you will have no spark or fuel. Sounds like it gettin fuel tho cause you can smell it. I would test the dizzy
