this is a little off topic and i apologize for it, but it'd be a waste to start a new thread on this...
my buddy just swapped heads on his 91 civ, it works fine but the idle sucks *****. would back timing on the dizzy be a probable cause of this?

 

bad idleing if im not mistake would be more of a vacume leak or a valve timing problem, but i dont see why ignition timing couldnt do it. How is the performance off idle? if its sluggish the timing is retarded to much. Id check all vacume lines and see is cam timing is set correctly
