DA6 Integra No cold start after 20 min w/ Key ON
Hey Guys
Have an odd issue with my DA6 since the day i brought it.
Each morning I have to turn the key to the ON position for a period of 15-30mins each morning or whenever its cold. The previous owner told me about the issue and put the blame towards faulty MFR.
I quickly replaced it and the problem still persisted. I've now learnt to deal with this over the last year :\
The code showing is '0' which is bad ecu/mfr
Jumping the wires to MFR do not help, and fuel will prime but no start after using the jumper.
The car wont start till power has made its way to the MFR and primes the fuel.
Months ago i followed other MFR threads and test came back normal voltage from memory.
If anyone has an idea on where to start with this I'm defiantly willing to follow and answer all questions.

Clean your ground contacts especially the thermostat ground and check the wires on the harness to the MFR, I highly doubt a new MFR from a auto shop will prove to be bad and or give the same symptom, Worse case search online for another ECU same year and model and try that.

Re: DA6 Integra No cold start after 20 min w/ Key ON
Thanks for the replies and merry xmas
It was second hand MFR out of another DA6 my buddy had tested before he sent it up. It worked exactly the same as the other one and problem still persisted.
I've fairly checked the grounds and awhile ago i did clean the thermo ground spot. I did find another few threads with the exact same issue.
After viewing similar threads with the same issue, I went out and finally bit the bullet and brought a ECU. Ended up getting hella lucky that a guy close to me got given one with an accord. Lol...
Was a pr3-j01 which is only for gen 2 DA6 JDM integra. Paid $40 :p
Put it in the next morning and still have the same issue... ECU Didn't help.
The car didnt even want to start last night. Had the ignition on for over an hour in the rain, then just cranked with no start.
Now I have the key in ignition waiting to try again..
Any ideas?? this is fucked
EDIT: This thread is basically the same! https://www.team-integra.net/forum/1...nly-start.html
Except I've replaced the ECU and still have the same issue. Visually they are both fine. No leaking capacitors and boards look very clean. Hmmph. Waiting over an hour is becoming a drag and making me want to just get rid of it

Well the passenger and driver sides are completely soaked, I guess i'll have to look at that first.
This morning I had the key on for 2hrs, then the battery was to dead to start. Went and purchased a new one. Installed, then came inside for a bit. Check engine light was off and car started first pop.

Just to throw it out as an idea, but could it be a fuel pump issue? Perhaps the pump is either clogged or failing and is taking a while to get going.
