Honestly, all the necessary parts should cost more than about $500. You can probably dig them all out of a junkyard.

if u wanna go cheap yeah. Me on the other hand, i've spent good money for my swap. 200 bucks on a exedy stage 2 clutch kit, 185 on a ACT flywheel, 320 for the transmission, 65 on a b&m short shifter, 16 on a type r shift ****, then i got a shift boot, pedals (25 from a friend), manual tranny mount, shift linkage (20 from a friend) and some other stuff, i can't remember.

With the manual tranny mount you will still have to shim it or make a custom spacer since the mounting bracket is placed differently on the frame.

Or you can cut it out and reweld it.. either way its not plug and play..

i got all my parts from a junk yard for like 600. it was pretty simple but far from easy. it was time consuming and frustrating at times. as for the tranny mount all you need to do is go to a hardware store ( or a place that sells metric grade 8 bolts) and get 5 1/2 in. longer bols then to stock ones, then you have to get some nuts(spacers) that are 1/2 wide and use them to shim the mount up.

search on g2ic.com thats were i found all my swap info.
