Default CTR vs ITR

Civic type R cams versus Integra type r cams, what are the pros and cons to each?
why is it that many people swap CTR cams into their integras instead of ITR cams? whats the reasoning behind this? What are the price differences?

I'm pretty sure the exhaust cam is the same for all years. The intake cam on 00-01 ITR is the same as CTR. Before 00-01, ITR's intake cam was slightly less aggressive than the CTR intake cam. This has been discussed alot, try a search

ITR cams are sold quite a bit cheaper. ITR cams 00-01 are the same exact camshaft as the CTR cams. The years before as stated above were just slightly less aggressive. not something to get your panty's all in a bunch about. i dont understand why people pay more for CTR cams. The extra they cost you should look into getting some skunk2 cams, etc. I say ITR camshafts are the best bang for a buck.

That's a lot of dough for OEM cams. I'll probably end up going with skunks since they are 600ish for a set.

What the hell does greddy have to do with OEM cams?

I would look into buying a pair of 97-98 ITR camshafts. Sure they are not as agrressive but there is not change in HP or dynos ( that I have seen) for the 97-98 vs 00-01 ITR.
