Nope, not for Intake side at least. The CTR intake cam has higher durations over the ITR intake cam. As for the exhaust cams they are basically the same cam.

I've heard both. That the CTR is more aggressive and that the ITR is more aggressive. Seems the only thing anyone can agree on is that the exhaust cam is the same. I honestly don't think anyone really knows.
All I know is that the only person I would ever let touch my car says that he was told the ITR's were more aggressive but he wasn't real sure either. The one thing he says he does know is that the ITR's tend to yield better results for him in all motor applications and that is what he recommended me to get. I have never second guess him as I consider him one of the best Honda guru's I know so that is why I have the ITR's sitting here in their boxes waiting for cam gears to go in.

Re: (TwistedSI)
CTR intake cams have 3 degrees more duration and a a couple more degrees of overlap. They are more of an aggressive cam. They will yield higher HP results over the ITR intake cam.

The exhaust cams are the same, the CTR intake cam up to 2000 are slightly more aggressive.
2000+ B series ITR and CTR are both the same.

Those appear to be the "older" ITR intake cam. The part numbers for the 2001+ are:

Re: CTR CAMS vs ITR CAMS (lo0nY)
If you found a good deal on 01 ITR cams, just pick them up. The difference between the CTR intake cam and the 01 ITR cam is so minimal, that it won't make much difference.
Bottom line, we know for sure that the 01 ITR intake cam is bigger than the older one. The exhaust cams for all of the above mentioned are the same.

Re: CTR CAMS vs ITR CAMS (rodrez)
as for the best setup, the guys that wrote above me are right. the best intake cam to use is the CTR. it has more duration and overlap (better high rpm). and as for the exhaust. between the two, its really not going to affect much. use whichever you can get your hands on. if youre looking for duration or overlap, i can help you with the ITR, i work at an acura dealership. let me know what you need.

Answering your question directly - yes, 01+ ITR Cams have the same specs as CTR Cams. Both have 3 degrees more duration on the intake cam when compared to the 96-98 ITR intake cam.
$300 is a pretty decent deal.

CTR cams didn't change. ITR cams on the new model ITR's have a larger intake cam that is almost identical to CTR cams of all years.

Well, even though this thread has been beaten to death and no one will believe anything anyone says. A friend showed me some Honda spec sheets a couple weeks ago and it showed the 01+ ITR cams having a hair more duration than CTR cams. Which makes sense since the ITR is a bigger displacement motor.
