Default Crank Angle Sensor problems

well, I'm getting a code for the crank angle sensor now....what should I do ? It's a 1998 Integra GS. is there a way to disconnect it and the car run ok ? it jerks serverely at low throttle now. Should I replace it ? is it possible that the one i have on now is installed wrong ? I just put a new motor in my car, and i just started doing this. it didn't do it with my old motor. Any ideas ?

and no, i'm not switching to an OBDI computer.

Hey, did you ever resolve your crank angle sensor problem? What did you do??

I have the same problem on a 1989 Integra - after just rebuilding the motor 200 miles ago.
