Default Crank sensor

My friend recently bought a blown up b20 swapped crx and had a running totaled crv we swaped the motors at knock sensors where the same but the crank sensor on the new motor didn't have a plug on the harness for it so this car won't run it starts on a bump start but don't know what to do about that crank sensor and if it's our problem any ideas

Default Re: Crank sensor

If your using an obd1 ecu you don't need the crank sensor. If using an obd2 ecu there's a bypass you can do. The motor should start and run with the crank sensor disconnect. So your problem cloud be something else.
