Default Coolant Problem!! Please help!

Ok, something's up with my coolant container, the white container under the hood by the radiator. Well I filled it up to Max level yesterday, and this afternoon i checked it and it was empty.. I mean, sucked dry.. i removed the container and i felt the bottom of it, and it was wet.. like its leaking.. where can i get a replacement container?

Take out the coolant overfill resorvoir (the white bottle) and clean it dry. Then fill it with some water to see if it leaks. If not, then you radiator might have a leak somewhere. Check the top seal of the radiator to see if it is leaking and the hoses as well.

my car had the same problem of losing coolant.. but the problem was the seal on the top of my radiator had broke loose and coolant seeped out of it whenever i drove. apparently that was a pretty common thing to happen on integra radiators. i got it replaced by acura in the last week of my warrenty, luckily. do you smell burning coolant when you drive the car? or what about when you park somewhere, do you see a large puddle under where the radiator/reservoir is?

I don't think its my radiator because the bottom of the coolant resevoir bottle is wet, like there must be a leak in it... I put some duct tape temporarily to see if that will help hold in some coolant, but its now soaked so it has to be leaking... I'm gonna try to replace the container, but I need help finding one... If anyone can sell me one for cheap or link me to where I can buy it, i would appreciate it...

Thanks

you can pull out the reservoir from the car and take it in your house, dry it off, fill it, and see if it leaks. if not its something else. i'd do that before buying a new one.

Just post in the Classifieds here, you never know, someone might have it for cheap. Just bring a gallon of water with you and keep your radiator full for now and keep filling the reservoir if it is a very slow leak.
