Default computer issue?wiring issue?motor issue?

i have a ls-vtec in my rhd integra.

the car ran hard as hell, but vtec wasnt engaging like i wanted it to.
so i pulled the computer out, and reburned a map onto the chip.
i put the chip back in, and it wont run without a check engine, the car has a sporadic idle (kinda like the iacv is bad) and the car feels super sluggish(check engine on too).

i put in a stock p06 computer, and it runs with no issues, idle or normal driving(check engine off).

when it would run with the check engine, and chip, i would use the 2pin jumper to read the code it was throwing. i turn the ignition on, and its solid.(no blinking what so ever)

so i cant retrieve a code, but its throwing a check engine.

also i must add that when the car is idling funny (at 2k) with the cel, i **** with the wires going to the ecu, the car starts dropping in idle, and fluctuating between high and low.

please some help would be appreciated.

If the car runs fine with a stock ECU then you can rule out any issues with the car itself. Now you know that the problem lies within the "chips" that you are burning and/or the ECU.

Without some more information, this will be tough to diagnose over the internet. What software are you using? What exactly are you changing? Have you tried running the original chip that you burned again?

What exactly do you mean that vtec was not engaging like you wanted it to?

crome 1.5.3 , i have the same map i was using on my emulator now, and i plugged the emulator in and it still gave me the same probs.

i changed vtec engage point, thats pretty much it.

for some reason on the og. tune there was a primary vtec point at 5k, and secondary at like 55 so it was opening vtec funny ( i have a type r head) lol
