Default Erratic idle situation

Motor-B16A2

Symptoms - high idle when cold, erratic idle when warm; erratic as in it revs to about 2500, then back to about 700, then 2500, then back to about 700 over and over and over, etc.

Replaced - EGR, MAP, IAC

Reset - ECU

CEL code - (Check Engine Light) none

I'm thinking it HAS to be a vacuum leak somewhere, but there's nothing visible, nor is there anything I can hear. I'm about at the end of my rope. Any suggestions?

Are you sure the ECU is not throwing any codes? Just because the CEL is not on doesn't mean that there isn't a code that it's throwing.

I jumped the ECU and left it for more than 10 mins. It never blinked. No codes. It stayed on and solid the entire time. So yes, I am POSITIVE there are no codes.

Default I don't think we have...

...the same problem. When I say it goes up and down, imagine yo-yoing. Now, transfer that over to my car's idle. This is not a sometimes issue, this is an ALL THE TIME OCCURRENCE.

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. My brother had the
same problem on his 88CRX si. The dealership said that it
was probably the EACV that was bad or clogged. But after
I had the speedometer gear replaced since it wasn't working
I just reset the ECU and it stop doing it. So I'm
not sure what was making it do that. My codes were: VSS,
Ignitor. Sorry I can't help you any further.

Default Someone suggested to me...

...that I should replace the "FITV...its the thing thats bolted on the bottom of the throttle body...has 3 bolts"

so, since this was the only thing that wasn't replaced, I'll try that tonight.
