buy a new sensor? If your CEL comes on for the o2 sensor, what are you going to do? Buy a new sensor.

The crankshaft fluctuation sensor is on the oil pump on an OBD2 engine. The wires are white/red and blue/red on the car side and white and blue on the sensor side of the plugs on 98+ integras. Look below/around the alt. You will find the plug coming from the timing cover. Maybe its unplugged. Doubt it's bad, but maybe it is. I have never had one go out myself. I've had a honda or 2 since 98.

I assume you are using the 98 ecu?

I would also suggest at least a Haynes manual for about $13 before you go buying sensors. All of the info I gave you and more in the book about that sensor.

Where did you find the wires at? Bottom of the timing cover?

I think that sensor is on the oil pump. On obd2 they moved the crank sensor out of the distributor onto the oil pump.
