How much better are the ITR cams than the GSR cams? HP wise.

not much difference until vtec kicks in. GSR cams peak at 7600, while the ITR cams keep going up until 8000 rpms. about 10-15 hp more peak power and i think it has some good gains throughout the whole powerband as well. Very good deal for the money. Honda knows their stuff.

you guys only need the ITR Intake valve springs. The ITR exhaust valve spring is the same part number as the GSR intake valve spring. IM TypeRmsm (moderator from type R forum), he has JDM ITR intake valve springs for 100 dollars. THey're stiffer than the USDM ones.

If you're gonna install cams, might as well do the valve train the same time to save you time/money. Even if you don't have an ECU to utliize it, it wouldn't hurt. And when you do have the money to buy a new ecu, you won't have to mess with your internals

the ITR has stiffer springs. Thats what I have. So change the springs would be good.
