what bottom end? If you have decent compression then go with the skunk2s. If its a stock gsr bottom, ITRs.

It all depends on the kinda power you looking for and the compression you have. I say if your block is stock, get some buddy club spec 3s. Theyll work with your stock ITR valve train and they are better then the itr cams.

go with the stage 2's but you will need to up the compression or the car will run horrible

<-- made the mistake of using stage 2's on stock b16 compression.

st. Jimmy

how was the car running horrible on a stock b16?

I've seen plenty of people running s2s2 cams on stock block with no problems. sure it's overcamming, but it made noticeably more power than the mild stage 1 cams.

yeah my buddy who im buying the s2s2's from has them on a stock b16 bottom end and the car runs perfect, he has a full valvetrain too soo. but im gonna be doing a cometic head gasket, supertech valvetrain, and then these cams. ive been told by a bunch of people that itll run fine. including someone who has the same setup

Depends on who you ask and what their opinion of "fine" is. I've seen cars that run like complete *** and people say, "thats just how these highly modified cars are".....

Most people i've talk to throw the cams in and expect horsepower, they dont realize that its not like getting a header or intake or exhaust where you can just bolt them on and you are on your way. They dont realize (stage 2)cams need a tune to even run decent, and on top of that the over camming.

Thats how it can run horrible on a stock b16.

With a good tuner they can run perfect but dont expect gains just by dropping the cams in.
