blox type B cams
i haven't been able to find much information on these cams since they are rather new. I'm wonderin how would these cams do on about 10.6 compression? Will an ITR valvetrain be alright to about 8500 rpms? The motor will be a gsr block, itr pistons, and a b16 head. tia

Re: blox type B cams (rough_draft)
honestly the type-b's wouldnt be ideal for your setup. they are actually similiar to the skunk2 stage 2's. you need a little bit more compression to run these cams. Also you might want to consider switching out your valvesprings/retainers when running any aftermarket camshafts.

I would have to disagree.
I am running them in almost the exact setup and am making some good power. for a street car. 200Whp.. and good gas mileage too. I would upgrade the valvetrain though.

Re: (regamaster)
Great cams for the money. I know a few people putting out 190-200whp with these cams on mid compression.
I wouldn't run these cams with stock ITR valvetrain though. Omni high compression valves and valvetrain will do the job just fine up to 10,000 RPM. Toss in a 2 layer headgasket and you should easily reach over 190. Search ITRacer121 and look at his old dyno sheets. He just actually redynoed it with Tony Palo a few hours ago and laid down 194/134 with a stock bottom end.
