Default boosting it up?

alright i have a 1994 integra ls with a turbo kit. its a greddy turbo kit with a big intercooler and the turbo is preety big but not sure what kind since i bough the car with it anyways right now am boosting 6 pounds and thats with the manual boost controler all the way open so thats my lowest boost setting. all i have is a fpr, RC injectors and the car is running with a P28, i dont have any fuel managemet program. the ls motor is from a 2000 ls and is stock, i want to bring my boost up to 8-10 pounds, how would i go about that, do i just adjust the boost with the manual boost controller or do i need a program so i can get more fuel. am kinda confused so all the help i get will be apriciated

Just to be safe you should probably get rid of the fmu and just get a decent type of engine management ie. crome, hondata, uberdata. Then after that you can turn up the boost!

oh and by the way how many cc's are ur RC injectors?

If you're not going to go with any kind of fuel management,
Just adjust your FPR up a little more, and then adjust your boost.

Of course it wouldn't be the right way to do things,
you're get worse gas mileage, along with a funny idle/partial throttle,
But it would work fine for a temporary thing.

stop drivin the car. what do u mean u have no management system it shouldn't be boosting daily. u should look into ur car more. u want more boost, get it chipped or hondata or whatever, bigger injectors (maybe depending on what u have now) and tuned. dont turn up ur fpr lol

well it must be chipped because the car is runnin on a p28, thats a 92-95 sohc vtec ecu, and i dont think i have to mess with the fpr because wen it gets more boost it should open up more cus of the more pressure correct? anyways thnks

1:1 boost referencing regulator is not going to change the ammount of fuel going in dramatically like a say a 12:1 or even 8:1 would. That thing needs to be tuned. Just a 1:1 will not do what you want. Either you're gonna hurt your motor from going deathly lean or that car is washing the rings out under light/no throttle. Whatever the case may be. You need to change something and do it soon.

Get Hondata S300B and have it tuned for 8-10 lbs, whichever you prefer. You also may want a fuel pump like Walbro. You will eventually need an aftermarket clutch as you'll soon see.

no engine management is asking for trouble if you want to turn up the boost.

I don't think that signifies having a Walbro fuel pump because I have a primary and secondary Walbro and I always have my car on 1/2 a tank or less.
