on a ls vtec . that is <U>not built </U> whta would be the most boost i should run on it.. i here people say no more than 7lbs and the i turn around a read that some guy runs 14lbs on a daily drive ..just wants advice from some one with this set up or knows about is ......yeah yeah i did the search botton and i keep getting different answers..

I know there are people who have ran upwards of 21 psi on stock engines, its all in the tunning.
But for daily driving, I wouldnt push any more than 12, 7-9 to be safe.

thats because there really isnt a straight answer...there are too many variables to answer your certain question...plus, you shouldnt base your engine reliability based on PSI, rather on the amount of hp/tq the engine makes...if so and so makes 2xx hp at 13psi and so and so makes 3xx hp at 10psi, of course the 3xx hp motor will be less "reliable" because its stretching its limits; unless fully tuned...The only sure way to make your car reliable for daily driving is to not cut corners with tunning....
