get one of those short ram intake where the openning is on the outside in front, and the air flows into a chamber that is wide and then tapers off when it goes towards the intake manifold. I think this design is to slow down the velocity of the air to reduce turbulence inside the pipe.

and then get some nitrous haha.

For 250$ you wont unleash much in regards to power gains by simple bolt ons..

save your money. Make the car nice inside and out, maintain it in a good state, then

once you have the money saved build a budget based on what you want (power gains

etc) and do it! Weather it be turbo or N/A but i believe turbo is the way to go.

Good Luck.

the best gain under 250 i would have to say is a testpipe i felt a difference, its around 50-70 bucks, just its illegal.

how's this an interfooler. honestly, you can't make good power with $250 unless you go nitrous. everyone knows forced induction is more cost effective to make power than NA and nitrous is the cheapest form of forced induction I can think of. and you do not have to to deal with the hassle of swapping out ur cat every time u go in for a smog if you were to get a test pipe like what was stated above. as for the short ram intake, i don't think it is worth spending the money to get any intake really, but it does it's job however tiny effect it may be.

for 250 you won't get much...frankly, I'd save...do the tune up and get cams. Best $500 you can spend. You'll never regret it...

Now, if you are in the market for a power adder....then you *MIGHT* consider replacing your clutch

(I apologize for the shameless plug)

(Ok, not really)

btw there are many reasons why that design isnt as effective as you may think...

If you are willing to sacrafice high rpm, then gear ratio change to a more close ratio one. The right way to do it is engine swap to a 2.0L or 2.4L, but that's a lot more than $250. more like $4-5k

I wouldn't do it if I were you.
