SC makes all the power past 6k rpm. Its mostly top end. Youl need some 4.57's.

if you want low end trq get a v8 and quit wasting your time/money on a small displacement 4 clyd.....

The s2k was made to be a big hp rpm monster not a trq monster why do people not understand this....

just put semi-slick,and launch at 7K rpm,,,it may spin a lil bit of tires but it will catch up on a v8 tourque and kill that v8 on 2nd and 3rd coz s2k is light *** car and high horse power,.... seeeeee yaaaaa V8.......

Thought so. Now is that the imported one from the land of the sun, or can you get one at any US junk yard?

they came stateside.. all 91-95 mr2 came with it along with the turbo model.. the celoica all trac i believe had a 91-92 production run which was turbo'd but that was it.. the regular celicas still had the 3Sg motor...
those motors are very very promising.. running 7's in them in Puerto Rico and the east coast....
also the toyota 2/3rz motor out of the tacomas are VERY nice.. TORQUE for DAYS...
guys ran 7's in them on full chassis cars with stock cams ...

Yah but then again name one car that was made as a strict drag car in factory form..... ohh yah mine can still take turns just change out the skinnies in the front for a wider tire and the slicks for something with some sidewall and wahla
