Who would be interested in improving low end torque w/o big investment?
I'm working on something to improve my low end torque, just trying to gauge interest to justify maybe marketing the improvement...

hey people buy cold air intakes for hundreds of dollars. im sure many people out there would like to improive theire low end torque.

why not just buy a SBC and drop it in the honda? that'll help with lowend torque, and you can find SBC's for as little as 200 bucks some places.

I hope you don't think you're going to invent some new mod that will gain a ton of low end torque on a car that rev's to 9k?
It just doesnt make sense. Take a camshaft for example, when it comes to choosing or designing your own spec'd cam, you can basically do two things; go for low end power or high end power. I don't know if I got the idea across much there.?. Lets say you put on a turbo thats too small for your f20 engine, you'll have plenty of low torque, but the top end will suck.
Maybe I mis-understood you, but knowing the way you are trying to present your idea, it seems pretty lame.

It's for everyday driving, not racing. For Sunday mornings in the canyons, it's fun to keep it in the power range, but for ,say, commuting, a little extra torque without downshifting is nice. BTW it would not be like the available electric superchargers on the market.
