battery question
i just bought a diehard from sears, but i think they gave me the wrong battery. it says the group size is 51 on it. looking at my old battery, the + and - terminals are reversed. on your guys' batteries, are the terminals facing closer to the firewall, or away from it? can i just use the new battery i have now or should i go back and exchange it? the new battery would have the terminals facing closer to the firewall, but i would have to pull out my battery cables a bit further to make them fit.

Re: battery question (In7egrity)
I have the same problem with my battery. i forget what brand it is, it was in the car when we bought the car used. but the terminals are on the side of the battery closest to the firewall, and the negative cable just barely reaches. turning the battery around wouldnt help, the short negative cable probably wouldnt even reach, because then the negative terminal would then be on the right side.

Re: battery question (Teken)
apply vaseline to the battery terminals? that's a first.. what's the purpose of doing that? does it prevent corrosion of the terminals or something to that effect?

Re: battery question (Teken)
While we are on the subject of batteries...
What "gel" cell battery fits in an integra?
I am getting to that point of needing a replacement and thought I wouldgo this route, but wasn't sure what would fit in the battery tray.
Also, I was contemplating mounting it in the trunk to give me a place to mount my ignition system & NOS solenoids. Bad idea?

So that's what they are called... I am still amazed at your knowledge.
Do you know if the optima battery will fit in the integra's battery tray?
Lastly, the yellow top is the best of the series.... right? Which is next best? 3rd best? The only reason I ask is b/c the rice side of me says "but your engine bay is all black, silver, and blue... yellow wouldn't match." I'm sure you see where this is going... Thanks Teken
