well i had baught a 90' LS and when i first got it had trouble with it bogging out just under normal driving conditions. then it started doin it when i started it as soon as it started it would bog out completely and not start again for a good 15 or 20 minutes. i checked the ecu and came up with a code 7 which is tps as far as ive seen. just wondering if anyone else is having or had this problem and found a simple solution?

yea its a bad tps...or your fuel pump is on its way out

Yeha just buy a new TPS, if its shot then other problems will pop up to.

i just replaced the fuel pump when i got the car not even 4 months ago. no point for it to already be goin out. i reset the ecu 3 days ago and the code isnt comming back and im still using the old tps. been runnin fine the past 3 days.

lotsa guys install the tps incorrectly. The accuator arm has to engage into the slot in the throttle body arm and it does not do this on it's own, you need to check it with a meter when your done to see if it's sending a variable voltage after you installed it.

never replaced it just put the old tb back on the car. been over 2 weeks now and still no tps code but car still does not like to start if its not on level ground.
