Re: b18b cams in b18a (Eckz2k)
grs pistons = higher compression
b18b cams = more fuel more exhaust but the head, intake manifold lacks the flow
so not the full potential unless you port and polish with stage 2 cams.

Re: (88civicHB703)
they will fit on stock LS rods with minor mods (of course machine shop will do that)
and it will bump your compression..
and see that baby go..
since you are getting a lot of parts see if you could get a gsr or b20 oil pump and
water pump..
kinda of building an LS/vtec.

Re: (88civicHB703)
naturally aspirated b18a
will do on the mid and high end lossing power on the low end
but my point was just to upgrade water and oil pump.
just try to match it up to a gsr or b16 tranny.

Re: (88civicHB703)
just put it this way
it has to feed a bigger bore.
therefore a better flow is needed.
so my best educated guess it will save you the port and polish of the b18a

OT (Eckz2k)
Sorry for posting on this thread but I've been trying to get ahold of Eckz2k. Can someone IM him and tell him to contact me on AIM? I have only been registered on Honda-Tech for a week or so I can't use the IM feature just yet. Again sorry, if this is inappropriate... then disregard.
