B16 tranny swap, vss problems?
I just swaped a hydro b16 tranny onto my 94 gsr and now my speedo isnt working and im not getting vtec. Im using my old vss and it worked fine on my other transmission. Im not getting any CELs either. The vss on there now is screwed down and plugged in correctly too.
Does this tranny use a different vss or should i look elsewhere for the problem.

Another thing you can do is make sure the connection is fine and there is no broken wires.. Vtec stops working simply by taking the plug off of your VSS

Yeah that was it. The plug was on there tight but I it grabbed and jiggled it down a little more. I drove for about 10min and it started working again.
